The TRX Cymbal Co. has announced the introduction of the “NRG” Series— a new class of premium-quality, handcrafted cymbals developed to meet the needs of today’s demanding hardcore and metal drummers. Featuring extreme weights, tapers and profiles along with special lathing and hammering that enable them to better project their upper frequencies, NRG cymbals have an “energetic”, extra-bright, extra-powerful sound.
“The new cymbals show just how versatile and musical our B20 bronze can be,” says TRX president David Levine. “And, even though the TRX Masters are already known for producing some of the world’s best sounding cymbals, the NRG Series shows that they’re also capable of creating some of the world’s newest sounds to meet the ever-changing needs of today’s drummers.”
TRX NRG Cymbals are available in 20, 21 and 22˝ Ride, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21˝ Crash, 13, 14 and 15˝ Hi-Hat, 10, 11 and 12˝ Splash and 13, 15, 17, 19 and 21˝ China models.
